Pulwama: At least nine youth were detained from two villages in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district during a nocturnal raid on Monday.
Local residents said on Tuesday that forces raided Arigam and Arihal villages and detained at least nine youth.
“Eight youth were picked up from Arigam and one from Arihal,” they said.
A police official said that the youth were detained for their involvement in stone pelting on forces.
