Srinagar: Two soldiers were wounded in a blast at an army camp in Lachampora area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday, police said.
Reports said that the explosion took place inside 15 RR camp located at Lachampora area of Rajwar in Handwara resulting in injuries to two army personnel.
They said the injured were shifted to a nearby medical unit for first aid.
A police official said the army personnel were fixing the barbed wire fence of the camp when the blast took place.
A police party has been rushed to the spot to ascertain the facts, he said.
