New Delhi, July 5:The Supreme Court on Friday convicted 12 people of killing former Gujarat home minister Haren Pandya in 2003.
The court allowed appeals of the CBI and the Gujarat government challenging the HC order by which convicts were absolved of murder charges in the Pandya case.
The SC, however, dismissed the PIL of an NGO seeking court-monitored fresh probe in the Pandya murder case.
The court slapped Rs 50,000 fine on NGO CPIL for filing PIL for fresh probe, said no further petition will be entertained in the case. PTI
