Srinagar, Jan 6: A CRPF jawan committed suicide by shooting himself after wounding two of his colleagues in Srinagar, official sources said on Sunday.

A jawan, Mukesh Babu, entered into a heated argument with his two colleagues, Ranjeet Tewari and Jaafar-u-Din Qureshi, over some issue at a CRPF camp at Pantha Chowk in the city outskirts on Saturday night, they said.

”The argument escalated following which Mukesh fired at them, resulting in injuries to both the jawans,”they said,

The injured were immediately taken to Army’s 92 Base Hospital.

Mukesh later committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle, they said.
