Jammu: On the early morning of 04.01.19 police received information that unknown thieves have taken away the J&K Bank ATM machine from Baba Talab.
On the basis of this information police registered case and started
During investigation dumped machine was recovered at Chowki Chowra and the thieves decamped the cash amounting to around Rs. 10,92,000.
On different inputs collected from different channels developed by SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta and SHO Trikutanagar Parvaiz sajjad and SHO Kanachak Gurnam choudhary under supervision of SP rural Dushyant Sharma police zeroed on some suspects who have been roaming in that area.
On the interving night of 05.- 06.01.19 acting on specific intelligence jammu police in collaboration with Samba and Kathua range laid different of nakas in different parts of three districts.
During this overnight operation police was able to arrest 6 suspects and two vehicles Scorpio and I20 which were involved in commission of crime were seized along with generator, cutter and other euipments. Police has recovered Rs 8,80,000
One suspect is still at large and the efforts to recover the rest of money is going on.
