Mohali, February 5: Six members of a family travelling in a Tavera SUV had a narrow escape after their vehicle caught fire all of sudden near the TDI City traffic light point on Airport Road here late this evening.
The incident took place around 10.15 pm. The SUV was being driven by Gurjit Singh. A car driver told Gurjit about the smoke emanating from his vehicle. “As soon as the occupants came out of the vehicle, fire engulfed the SUV,” said JP Singh, an eyewitness.
