Mendhar, May 6: The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday targeted each other with small arms and mortars along the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said that the exchanged of fire began today morning in Krishna Ghati sector. He said the exchange took place after a gap of eighteen hours.
The armies of the two countries exchanged heavy fire and shelling from Sunday morning until late evening.
Reports said that several civilian areas along the LoC were affected due to firing and shelling.
