Fatehgarh Sahib, September 6: Former MP Sukhdev Singh Libra passed away on Friday morning after a prolonged illness. He was 87.
The cremation will take place at his native village Libra on Friday noon.
Libra, who was born on November 7, 1932, was a member of the 14th and 15th Lok Sabhas. He was also a Punjab MLA in 1985. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha from 1998-2004.
He represented the Fatehgarh Sahib constituency and was a Congress leader. He was currently based in Khanna.
