Two policemen wounded in Sopore grenade attack

Srinagar, June 7: Two policemen were wounded on Friday afternoon after suspected militants lobbed a grenade at Sopore police station.

An official said that the grenade exploded outside the gate of the police station, leaving two policemen wounded.

Initial reports identified the wounded policemen as Abdul Aziz and Ali Mohammad.

Reportedly, both have suffered splinter injuries.

They have been shifted to district hospital Sopore for treatment.
