DDC Doda holds Public outreach programme at Chinta

DODA, JUNE 07: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today held public outreach programme at Chinta in Bhaderwah and took stock of grievances of the public besides reviewing status of development works.

The issues raised by the people during the camp included macdamisation of Jai Bhaderwah road, acute shortage of water supply in Chinta and its adjoining areas, dilapidated road connectivity, shortage of staff in health and revenue departments, non functioning of Anganwadi centres under ICDS, rent payment of land which is under occupation of army, 24 hour open pass for locals in their fields which is under army for school going children and for cattle feeding, seed centre for Chinta, toilet and electricity facility for Jai valley, X ray service and laboratory for PHC Chinta, Milk collection centre for Chinta under GPDP, removal of wine shop from Ghati morh, water treatment plant for Chinta, solid liquid waste management mechanism for the area besides other grievances.

The DDC directed the ADC Bhaderwah to constitute a committee to look into the issue of pending payment cases of land acquisition and rent which is under occupation of army.

The DDC asked the CDPO Bhaderwah to pay regular visit to Anaganwadi centres to monitor functioning of these vital government units.

He directed the department of Animal Husbandry to work out mechanism for creation of a milk collection centre at Chinta besides directing the CAPD department to prepare a proposal for establishment of a separate ration depot for Trabi area as per population.

ADC Bhaderwah Dr R k Bharti, BDO Bhaderwah Phulail Singh, BMO Bhaderwah, CDPO Bhaderwah besides officials of other concerned departments were also present on the occasion.
