Srinagar: The chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM), Shah Faesal, on Monday dared Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to scrap special status of Jammu and Kashmir, by abrogating Article 370 of Indian constitution, saying, “The day it happens, we will move our watches 15 minutes away from IST.”
The former IAS turned politician said that the abrogation of Article 370 was contempt of Supreme Court of India, “BJP manifesto promises abrogation of Article 370/35A. It is contempt of Supreme Court as the matter is subjudice. That apart, I challenge @BJP4India to do it. The day it happens, we in J&K will move our watches 15 minutes away from Indian Standard Time.”
Today, BJP released its manifesto for the upcoming general elections in India, named Sankalp Patra.
