Jammu, Jan 9 : Police on Wednesday nabbed two drug peddlers with contraband of cannabis in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Police during a routine checking of vehicles intercepted a car this morning coming from Shopian towards Jammu at Udhampur,” police sources here said.
They said that during frisking of the vehicle, 13-kg cannabis (charas) was seized and two persons were arrested on the spot.
The identities of the arrested persons are being ascertained while a case under NDPS Act was registered and investigation started.
