KARGIL, JANUARY 09: A delegation from Tai Suru led by Councillor of the area and former Executive Councillor Aga Syed Abbass Razvi called on the Executive Councillor for Zanskar Affairs Er Punchoq Tashi and took up with him various issues and demands of the people.
The delegation urged the Executive Councillor for early clearance of snow from the Sankoo Tai Suru Road and restoration of SRTC bus service between Kargil to Parkachik.
They also apprised the EC of several other grievances and issues that mainly included the augmentation of water and power supply, ration, medicare facilities and other related demands.
Er Tashi gave a patient hearing to all issues raised by the delegation and assured them of the fulfilment of all genuine concerns in a phased manner.
The EC issued on spot directions to the Superintending Engineer Mechanical Division and Manager SRTC to take immediate requisite steps for snow clearance and restoration of bus services.
