World Red Cross Day celebrated at Kupwara
KUPWARA, MAY 08: District Red Cross Committee Kupwara organized a grand programme today to celebrate World Red Cross Day at town hall Kupwara with Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Farooq Ahmed Baba as Chief Guest.
Chief Education Officer Kupwara, students of various educational Institutions and other officials participated in the programme.
ADC Kupwara, while highlighting the importance of District Red Cross Committee (DRC) said that the committee has an important role to play in natural disasters.
On the occasion, various speakers and students from different institutions highlighted the importance of day and role of red cross, while it awards were presented to the students who spoke on the occasion
