Symposium on School Based Education on Drug Abuse Prevention held
JAMMU, MAY 08:- To spread awareness among the students, Cultural Wing, Department of Information & Public Relations, Jammu organized a symposium cum Cultural Programme on the topic “School based education for drug abuse prevention” at Oriental Academy, Mohalla Afgan, Kachi Chawni, Jammu here today.
Principal of the host school, Vivek Chauhan, was the chief guest on the occasion.
As many as, 20 students of host school participated in the contest and expressed their views on the topic.
In the symposium contest, Priya Sharma of class 10th and Nistha Jain of 8th class jointly clinched first position while Ayushi Verma and Arooj Shakil both of class 10th secured second and third position respectively.
Later, artists of Cultural Wing and Students of the host school presented a scintillating cultural programme based on drug abuse and rich folk culture.
Sonu Jain, Monika Sharma and Nivedita acted as judge in the contest. Prizes were also given to the winners
