Minor drowns in water body Kashmir’s Shopian

Anantnag, July 9: A minor boy drowned in a water body in south Kashmir district of Shopian officials sources said on Tuesday.

Six-year-old Jibran Mudasir, a resident of Arkhera area of Imam Sahib Shopian, suddenly slipped and fell into a steam near his home in Shopian last evening. People present in the area immediately jumped into stream but could not save Jibran.

Later, after a long struggle Jibran was taken out from the stream and rushed to hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
