Government forces on Wednesday launched a cordon and search operation in Kulhama area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that a joint team of army’s 14 RR unit and the police launched the operation in Kulhama locality.
He said that operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Door-to-door searches were going on when this report was being filed. So far there was no report of any contact between the militants and the forces.
