Business School, Bhaderwah Campus Organizes Guest Lecture

Bhaderwah May 10: The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu organizes a guest lecture for the students of MBA, BBA and B.Com Honours.

At the onset Mr Sunil Bhardwaj, Head The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus formally welcomed the speakers, guests, faculty members and the students. He also elaborated the aptness of the topics for the students which are chosen for the guest lecture. He stressed on the concept of effective teamwork for achieving organizational objectives.

The invited speaker on the occasion was Dr Shazia Bukhari from School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra. She delivered her talk on the topics “Positive Organisation Behaviors” and “Creating Effective Teams”. Both the topics are very relevant in present dynamic organization culture. Speaking on the occasion she explained the H-R-W Model to increase the workplace performance and highlighted the importance of subordination of individual interests to the organization’s interests for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. While elaborating on the concept of effective team building she pointed that in a team each is as important as other in the application of their expertise in order to achieve the desired goals. Members in a team always complement and supplement the efforts of their teammates to create the concept of synergy. During the session students asked number of questions and entered into a healthy discussion on the topics.

This event was possible only due to the positive motivation, guidance and support of Professor Anil Raina, Rector, Bhaderwah Campus who also congratulated The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus for taking this initiative for the holistic development of the students.

The event was coordinated by all the faculty members of The Business School including Dr Umesh Chaudhary, Mr Atif, Mr Zaffer, Mr Amit, Ms Princy and Ms Surbhi. At last, Mr Atif Qazi, Lecturer, The Business School delivered a formal vote of thanks to the speaker, faculty members and the participants followed by a group photograph.
