DDC Kishtwar reviews working of DIC, IWMP, other key deptts
KISHTWAR, MAY 09: Around 188 persons have got employment in 30 units established in this district during last fiscal under the Prime Minister Employment Generation programme (PMEGP).
The set target was to sponsor 34 PMEGP cases but the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) approved 69 cases.
Among 69 cases approved by DLTFC, 36 cases were sanctioned of which 30 applicants availed the loan to setup the self-employment units which generated jobs for 188 persons, a meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner, (DDC) Angrez Singh Rana was told, here today.
The meeting reviewed the working and achievements of Food, Civil Supplies and consumer Affairs Department, IWMP, Handloom Handicraft, DSWO, DIC and Employment Department.
