RAMBAN, JANUARY 11: District Information Centre (DIC) Ramban today hosted a culture cum verity show here at Hill View Hotel Batote to provide the local singers and artists an opportunity to showcase these talent.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Ramban, Dr. Saif-u-din Khan was the chief guest and Deputy Commandant, SSB,7th Battalion, Ramesh Kumar was the guest of honour.
Local Artists, Shamun Mir, Rashid Malik, Divya Bharti, Aftab, Mohammad Rafi, Kapil Sharma and Bishan Dass enthralled the audience by their melodious songs in Hindi, Dogri and Punjabi.
Speaking on the occasion, the CMO lauded the efforts of Information Department and for organizing the impressive show. He urged the Department to organise more such events to provide platform to budding artists.
Later, participants were felicitated by the chief guest.
