General Observer for Bijbehara, Pahalgam chairs meeting
ANANTNAG, APRIL 09: General Observer for Bijebehra and Pahalgam Assembly segments of Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency Dr Naresh Kumar Thakeral today chaired a meeting of zonal and sectoral magistrates of the assembly segments here at Khanabal.
The meeting was also attended by Police Observer Ajay Thakur along with Abdul Rashid, Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) Bijbehara, ARO Phalgam Dr Syed Fahim and Sub Divisional Magistrates of Pahalgam and Bijbehara.
Training was imparted to the zonal and sectoral magistrates, who were directed to inspect and ensure Assured Minimum Facilities at all polling stations. Dr Thakeral impressed upon them to follow the guidelines laid down by Election Commission of India.
