DEO Reasi reviews plan for transportation of polling parties
REASI, APRIL 10: District Election Officer Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib, today chaired a meeting to take stock of arrangements for the dispatch of polling parties to their respective polling stations.
The meeting was held here at Government Degree College which was attended by SSP Nisha Nathyal, ARO Vivek Puri, ARTO Shammi Kumar and others. Traffic plan for arrival and departure of polling parties and other related issued was discussed in detail.
Officials from the Chief Medical Officer office assured the DEO of round-the-clock medical facilities at departure and collection centres in the district.
Arrangements for power supply and power backup were also finalized at the meeting. Similarly, other arrangements like deployment of fire tenders, security, logistics etc were inspected and found satisfactory.
Additional DC, Rajinder Sharma; ADDC, Ramesh Chander; ACD, Sunil Sharma; Deputy DEO, Sanjay Badyal; SDM Katra, Ashok Kumar; SDM Dharmari, Sushil Kesar and SHO Reasi, Ashwani Sharma and other concerned were also present at the meeting.
