DC Rajouri inspects PHE augmentation works
RAJOURI, MAY 09: District Development Commissioner, Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad has directed Public health engineering department to complete the works for augmentation of water supply within a week’s time including the commissioning of the borewell at Bella colony.
The District Development Commissioner issued the directions while inspecting the Schemes of PHE, here.The officials briefed DDC about scenario of water supply in Rajouri town during peak summers.
DDC also visited few locations where borewells have been dug to augment the water supply. At Aiti Bridge it was told that electrical works are nearing completion and soon the water from newly dug bore well shall be added to main supply line.
Executive Engineer PHE Sunil Koul, Xen PDD Munshi Khan and staff of PHE Mechanical also accompanied the DDC during inspection of works.
