Srinagar, June 12: Amnesty International India has cancelled an event in Srinagar on Wednesday after the district administration denied the permission, said a spokesman.
“This is to inform you that the event has been cancelled as district administration denied permission,” he said, in a statement.
The rights body was holding an event at 2 pm at a hotel in Srinagar.
