Srinagar,June 13: Security forces on Thursday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Sarmarg Village of north Kashmirs Kupwara district, official sources said.
They said troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a CASO at village sarmarg Rajwar following a tip-off about the presence of militant.
The operation was going on when the reports last came in, they added.
