Kangan, May 14: Students of Kangan Degree College on Tuesday staged a protest against the alleged rape of a three-year-old girl in Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district last week.
Reports said that scores of students of Degree College Kangan assembled inside the college premises and staged a protest against the incident.
Chanting slogans and demanding stern punishment to the perpetrator, the students marched towards main chowk Kangan, where they staged a sit-in.
The students later dispersed off peacefully and returned to the classes.
