New Delhi, February 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said terror outfits and their perpetrators had committed a grave mistake by carrying out the attack at Pulwama and would pay a heavy price for it.

Paying homage to the soldiers who lost lives in the attack at a function to flag off the Vande Bharat Express, Modi said security forces had been given full freedom.

Modi said he respected those critical of the government and requested the country to speak in one voice.

He said if Pakistan, which is going through an economic turmoil, thought it could cause damage to India, it was mistaken. Pakistan should forget of fomenting trouble in the country, he added.

After Pulwama, the country is both anguished and angry, the PM said.

“Our brave soldiers have sacrificed their lives and I assure that the dreams of those who had paid with their lives would be fulfilled,” Modi said.
