‘Bandh’ call not extended ,says Chamber, Minority community appeals for communal harmony

The Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Jammu on Friday said that the “bandh” call has not been further extended while the Muslim community members appealed for communal harmony in view of violence erupted here during the shutdown to condemn martyrdom of 44 CRPF personnel in terror attack of Lethipora, Awantipora, Pulwama.

The members of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries led by its president Rakesh Gupta jointly with Office Bearers and heads of affiliated associations and leaders from the Muslim Community here addressed the media.

Mr Gupta said that the one-day “bandh” call given by JCCI was purely to express solidarity with the martyred CRPF Jawans and their families in this hour of grief and thanked one and all for observing complete Jammu Bandh
