Jammu: Traffic cop was crushed to death by a truck on Friday morning at Jogi Morth road, Surankote.
An officials told that incident took place at Jogi Morh Surankote where a traffic Naka was laid by police including cops from the traffic department.
Confiding the details police officer said that during this Naka, a truck JK02BK 5685 hit and crushed to death a traffic cop later identified as Aftab Parvez resident of Poonch.
Later, the police team from Surankote police station reached the spot and truck were seized from the spot whose driver fled.
A body has also been removed while the investigation has been started by police.
