DODA, JUNE 14TH 2019: A Class 12th Student of GHSS Ghat (Doda) drowned into Neeru Nallah on Doda Bhaderwah road this evening. As per reports, the incident took place at about 05:45 pm when the three persons (students) were taking bath near the Nallah site, when one of them identified as Sohaib Malik S/o Farooq Ahmed Malik R/o Hanch Malna slipped into the river stream and got stucked under the water. Soon after getting information, locals of the area raised an alarm whereas a team of Local NGO (Ababeel) along with some local divers started rescue operation to fish out the body from river. But due to darkness, the operation was called off due to which the body could not be retrieved sofar. However, the rescue will again start tomorrow early in the morning to trace out the missing body.
