London, July 14 : In one of the most exciting finishes, England won the ICC World Cup after the super over also ended in a tie as both the teams made 15 runs each but England hit two boundaries where as New Zealand did not hit any boundary in the super over.
England scored 15 runs in the super over as Ben Stokes made 8 runs off 3 balls while Joss Buttler made 7 runs off 3 balls hitting one boundary each off Trent Boult.
The ICC World Cup final ended in a nail-biting tie as England were all out for 241 runs on the last ball of the innings. Ben Stokes played a heroic innings as he remained unbeaten on 84 runs off 98 balls to force a tie.
