Former chief minister Om Prakash Chautala is being shifted to Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, after his health deteriorated at Narnaul where he had gone to address a meeting of INLD workers.

His younger son and Leader of Opposition Abhay Singh Chautala said he had addressed the workers’ meeting and was speaking to the media when he complained of uneasiness and his condition started deteriorating.

He said the party workers were taking him to Gurugram where he would be shifted to Medanta Hospital.

Last month, Chautala was admitted to LNJP hospital in Delhi when on January 22 he was suddenly shifted to Tihar Jail in the midst of campaigning for Jind bypoll.

Chautala then had alleged that the AAP government in Delhi was behind the move under influence of his grandsons and JJP leaders Dushyant Chautala and Digvijay Chautala.
