Srinagar, May 16: A gunfight broke out between the militants and the security forces in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
The gunfight, third in a day, broke out after the forces launched a cordon and search operation in Handew village of the district.
Earlier, three militants, an army soldier and a civilian were killed in a gunfight in Pulwama district while another gunfight is underway in Kupwara district.
