Srinagar, Jan 17: Air traffic at Srinagar International airport remained suspended for the second day on Thursday due to poor visibility.
Sky is covered with dark clouds due to which the visibility is very poor, an official of the airport told media, adding that no flight could operate so far.
Flights are delayed but not cancelled, he said, adding that flight operation could be resumed when the visibility improves, he said.
”Yesterday, we could operate just four flights in the morning when the visibility was good, he said, adding that later, 22 flights were cancelled due to snowfall and poor visibility.
This was the second time flight at Srinagar airport could not operate in January due to weather conditions.
