Jammu: J&K administration announced on Sunday it was withdrawing security cover of five separatist leaders, including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
Administration officials have said that it would “under no circumstances” provide security cover to separatists.
The development comes as fallout of a deadly attack the Central Reserve Police Force in Pulwama on Thursday. An explosive laden car driven by a suicide Jaish-e-Mohammed bomber crashed into a CRPF vehicle in Pulwama, tearing it to smithereens and killing at least 40 troopers.
