Government forces on Monday launched a cordon and search operation at a village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official told media that mixed columns of the army, SOG and CRPF men launched a search operation in Krawoora village of the district.
“The operation was launched after forces received inputs about the presence of militants in the area,” the official said.
The operation was in progress at the time of filing this report.
