Sangrur, November 18: Various organisations on Monday decided to gherao the residence of former Punjab CM Rajinder Kaur Bhattal at Lehra in Sangrur district.
They have been demanding Rs 50 lakh compensation for the family of deceased Dalit man Jagmale Singh and government job to his wife Manjit Kaur.
Members of these organisations are currently going towards Bhattal’s residence from Changaliwala village.
The man had been mercilessly beaten up, leading to his death at the PGI, Chandigarh.
