DDC Rajouri chairs Civil-Military liaison conference
RAJOURI, MAY 17: District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a Civil-Military Liaison Conference to discuss various issues under its purview.
During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held on various issues related to the issuance of requisition order, attestation of mutations, joint verifications of civil and military authorities, wherever required, among others.
The meeting was attended by Commanding Officer Romeo Force, SO land, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh, Assistant Commissioner Defence, Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mohammad Ashraf, ADEO Rajouri-Poonch, representatives from the Military and Tehsildar Rajouri, Manjakote,Darhal, Thanamandi and officer from BRO.
During the meeting, Commanding Officer Romeo Force raised the issue of land acquisition for construction of road near their headquarters and rehabilitation of families residing inside the station.
DDC asked the Assistant Defence Estate Officer to place the indent for land and for joint verification by the revenue authorities for the same. Regarding the rehabilitation of 5 families residing inside the campus, DDC asked ADC to conduct a site visit and submit a report.
Officers from the Defence raised other issues like timely submission of revenue papers, delay in joint verification, delay in rent assessment, demarcation band mutations at different places under defence, etc. They also raised the issue of maintenance of forest park at Palma, compensation to land owners and construction of road from higher secondary school Palma to Sankari.
DDC also instructed the concerned Tehsildar to attest the mutations where RO has been issued. He said that there are coordination issues between Defence and revenue offices shall be ironed out by conducting Tehsil Level interactions between defence representatives and Tehsildars.
In all, a total of 42 issues related to acquisition, de-requisition of immoveable property, demarcation of defence land, attestation of mutations, rent assent issues were discussed and resolved during the meeting.
