2-days Training Programme organized by CBSE & Sports Authority of India

The CBSE and Sports Authority of India conducted National Level Training of Trainer (TOT) programme under Khelo India National Fitness Assessment Programme for the Sports/Physical education teachers at Jawahar lal Nehru Stadium. This 2-day training programme was organized by CBSE & SAI in order to highlight the aims & importance of various Sports and also to revive the Sports culture among Youths at the grass root level. The emphasis was mainly laid on Physical fitness which can be ensured through proper training.

Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu not only focuses on the development & success of their students but also lay emphasis on the development & well-being of their teachers. By keeping this in view, two Sports teachers viz.; Ms.Jagpreet Kour & Ms.Tanishka Charak participated in this training & National Fitness Assesssment programme from the J&K State. Sports teachers from various states participated in the programme under the guidance & supervision of master trainers, who nurtured sporting talents and made them well-aware of the various benefits of training for staying strong and fit.

CBSE Skill Education & Training Directors Dr.Biswajit also spoke on the importance of training & various sports to stay physically & mentally fit. The two day training programme was concluded with providing the trainers with certificates, tracksuits and a well-experienced training, which they can further provide to their students, who are the future leaders of our country.

Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school Mrs. Rohini Aima asserted that empowerment of youth’s is one of the biggest agenda of present times for their overall development .Therefore, youth needs to be empowered & motivated which can be done not only through education but also by providing them with various training programmes.
