AAP MLAs walk out of Punjab Assembly on proclaimed offenders issue

Chandigarh, February 20: AAP MLAs on Wednesday staged a walkout in the ongoing budget session of the Punjab Assembly as they were not satisfied with the government’s reply on the issue of proclaimed offenders.

Soon after the session began, AAP legislators went into the Well of the House and raised slogans.

Earlier, Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu arrived in the House carrying printouts of certain photographs.

Leader of the Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema walked up to Sidhu to have a look at the pictures. More AAP leaders also walked up to Sidhu’s chair to see the pictures.

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Brahm Mohindra walked up to the AAP chairs.
