The armies of India and Pakistan trade heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
Reports said firing and shelling started at about 11:15 AM at forward area of Mankote in Krishna Ghati sector.
They said that the firing exchange is going on at more than eleven positions on the LoC.
There was no immediate report of any loss of life or injuries on either side.
