DG inspects RDD works in Kathua
KATHUA APRIL 27:- Director General, Rural Development Department (RDD) Jammu, Rehana Batul, today visited Hiranagar, Marheen and Barnoti blocks of district Kathua to personally take stock of the houses being constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), play fields, IHHL units and community halls.
She was accompanied by ACD Kathua, Sukhpal Singh, Deputy Director Planning, Gurneet Kour, BDO Barnoti, O D Attri and BDOs of Hiranagar, Keerian Gandial besides other concerned officers of the Department.
During the field visit, the team inspected several PMAY houses at Nagrota, Mahi Chak and Jasrota villages of Barnoti block and interacted with the beneficiaries to get their feedback on the implementation of the scheme.
