I politely told him that since I was attending to another patient, I would do it once am free. He was in an inebriated condition and started abusing and while moving out he threatened me with dire consequences. I called the security staff but before they came the patient came back with a knife and tried to attack me. Somehow he was overpowered by my colleagues and security staff,’’ said the victim, Dr Saurabh Aggarwal.
Soon after the incident, the doctors began protesting demanding adequate security for the medicos. Police have registered a case.
