Major breakthrough for Police, recovers huge cache of arms and ammunition in Arnas

RECOVERY OF ARMS AND AMMUNITION FROM HIDEOUT OF MILITANTS AT RAKHAN WALA DHARA OF GAJNA FOREST AREA OF BASSAN TEHSIL ARNAS.
Today on 28.06.2019 on specific information a search operation was launched at Gajna Top and Forest area of Bassan Tehsil Arnas by Police team of P/S Arnas and SPP Bassan led by SHO P/S Arnas under the supervision of SDPO Arnas, Addl.SP Reasi and overall supervision of SSP Reasi. During search operation following Arms and ammunition were recovered from hideout of militants at Rakhan Wala Dhara of Gajna Forest area of Bassan Tehsil Arnas.

2. UBGL Grenade = 07 Nos.
3. Baynot AK-47 = 01 No.
4. Rounds of AK-47 = 05 Nos.
5. Mine AMPI Personal = 01 No.
6. Plastic Pot in which all material was packed = 01 No.

In this regard, a case FIR No.44/2019 U/S 120B/121/122/RPC,7/27 A.Act, 4 Expl. Act. stands registered at P/S Arnas and investigation started.
