New Delhi, July 28: A video of a group of Indian tourists “stealing accessories” from a hotel in Indonesia’s Bali has gone viral on social media.

In the 2.20-minute clip, a man who appears to be a staff member of the hotel is seen looking through the baggage of an Indian family while they were on their way out of the resort.

At first, the Indian family was seen arguing with the staff, but that did not stop the man from checking each suitcase and taking out things that were stolen from their room—such as towels, electronics, decorative pieces and other stuff.

“We are really very sorry. This is a family tour. We will pay you. Please let us go because we have to catch our flight,” one of the women is seen telling the man.

Several security officers were seen going through their bags in the video. One of the family members was heard, saying: “I will pay”, to which the security official replied: “I know you have a lot of money but this is no respect”.

The video was shared on Twitter by a user called Hemanth, who wrote: “Such an embarrassment for India. Each of us carrying an #IndianPassport must remember that we are ambassadors of the nation and behave accordingly. India must start cancelling passports of people who erode our credibility”.
