Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik once again launched an all-out attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and said that Gandhi was “acting like a political juvenile”.

The Jammu and Kashmir Governor was holding a press conference to apprise the media about the current situation in Kashmir.

Satya Pal Malik slammed the use of Rahul Gandhi’s statement on the situation in Kashmir by Pakistan in its letter to the United Nations.

“I don’t want to speak about him [Rahul Gandhi]. He is the son of an esteemed family of India. He has behaved like a political juvenile. And this is why his statements have been used by Pakistan in their letter to the UN. He shouldn’t have done this,” Satya Pal Malik said.

After Pakistan used his comments on Kashmir in their plea to the UN, Rahul Gandhi tweeted on Wednesday that Jammu and Kashmir is India’s internal matter and there is no room for Pakistan or any other country to intervene.

However, Satya Pal Malik called out the duplicity in the Congress stand on Kashmir.

Referring to the incident where Congress leader in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury had said Kashmir was not an internal matter.

“Rahul Gandhi should have spoken when his party’s leader in Lok Sabha linked the Kashmir issue to the UN. He should have reprimanded his leader and himself clarified what the Congress stand on Kashmir is. They haven’t cleared their stand on Kashmir,” Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik said.

Satya Pal Malik also said the public will not forgive the Congress for supporting Article 370 and will beat them up with shoes. “I shouldn’t say this but when elections come their [Congress] opposers will simply say the Congress is a sympathiser of Article 370, people will beat them with shoes.”
