SVEEP awareness programme held at GDC Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, MARCH 29: District Administration Kishtwar in collaboration with NSS unit of Government Degree College Kishtwar organized a voter awareness programme under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) at the College premises here today.
District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana, was the Chief guest and SSP Shakti Kumar Pathak was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Principal GDC Kishtwar, Prof. Pawan Kumar Parihar, Nodal Officer SVEEP Anoop Kumar, Prof. Faisal Mushtaq besides faculty and students of GDC Kishtwar also participated in the programme.
While addressing the participants, DDC Kishtwar briefed the participants about the SVEEP programme and asked the eligible voters to vote with full enthusiasm and further asked them to aware other eligible voters to vote so that maximum turnout could be achieved in the upcoming elections.
He further threw light on Voter helpline number: 1950, www.nvsp.in website and C-Vigil App.
Nodal Officer SVEEP and Training stated that the district administration is involved in the programme with the objective of creating greater awareness among the eligible voters.
