JAMMU SANSKRITI SCHOOL, JAMMU EXCELS IN
VOX POPULI- A DEBATING PHENOMENON
Empowering young minds is a momentous task which asks for toil.
Children today are reservoir of talent, flair, aptitude competency.
Needless to say that this reservoir needs right unfolding to multitudinal
opportunities available in today’s era. Working on the same perspective,
we at Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu don’t leave any stone unturned
and avail every opportunity which will groom our children to its fullest.
Pertaining to this, our team of 13 Sanskritians participated with vivacity
and earnestness in Vox Populi held recently at Jodhamal Public
School. The performance was exceptionally well and 3 of our
Sanskritians namely Bhumika Bhardwaj, Vedant and Nirvaan
bagged the awards of most promising journalist in senior category, most
promising speaker and most promising video journalist whereas 10 of
our students namely., Sara; Amandeep; Parul; Sia; Pihu; Niharika;
Kiran; Ananya; Akshaj; Vanshdeep were awarded with participation
Certificates. Competing with the best in this cut throat competition was
not a child’s play but under the guidance of their mentor Ms Megh Jyoti
(PGT English), the children were able to outdo others.
While cherishing the victory Ms Rohini Aima; Principal cum Vice-
Chairperson of the school asserted that the real purpose of education is
to let the learners explore by experimenting and interacting within ones
surroundings and we as stakeholders must create the situations and avail
the opportunities for arousal of curiosity for such experiences.
