Leh, August 29: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said that “no country is with Pakistan” on the Kashmir issue.Speaking at a DRDO event in Leh, Singh said: “Kashmir has always been with us and will remain so.”
Speaking on the relationship with Pakistan, the Defence Minister said that India wanted a “good, neighbourly” relationship with Pakistan, but the country should first stop “exporting” terror to India.
“How can we talk to Pakistan when it keeps trying to destabilise India using terror?” said Singh.
Singh also said that Pakistan should focus on addressing human rights violations and atrocities in PoK.
“Want to ask Pakistan when had Kashmir belonged to it. Kashmir was always part of India,” he said.
The Defence Minister reiterated that Pakistan had no locus standi on Kashmir.—PTI
