14-year-old boy among 6 new Covid cases in Chandigarh’s Bapu Dham colony, count now at 94

Chandigarh, May 2 : With six more people being confirmed positive for coronavirus on Saturday, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Chandigarh rose to 94.

A 14-year-old boy is among the latest infected. Bapu Dham Colony now has 44 cases.

On Friday, 12 cases were reported from Bapu Dham Colony in Sector 26, the most affected pocket of the city with 38 cases, while one from Sector 30 and another from Sector 15.

The second worst affected area is the economically weaker section colony in Sector 30-B that saw 17 cases. Both the areas have already been totally sealed..

The city on Friday saw 14 virus cases, the highest single-day spike.
